Snowdrop Valley is a privately owned remote valley in a hidden part of Exmoor close to Wheddon Cross
The Badgworthy Land Company kindly allow access to the valley while the beautiful carpet of snowdrops is in bloom throughout February each year
The Valley will be open from Saturday 25th January – Sunday 23rd February – 10.30am-4.30pm
The Park and Ride Buses will be running from Saturday 8th February to Sunday 23rd February inclusive

We can accept cash only. There is a cash point at Central Stores in Wheddon Cross if required
Car Parking – £2 per car to include one walking map
All parking is at Exmoor Farmer's Market – TA24 7DT
There will be NO parking available in Exmoor Farmers Market on Wednesday 5th, Wednesday 12th and Wednesday 19th February and only limited parking in the village.
Land Rover Service – This year we are delighted to be able to offer you the opportunity to take advantage of a Land Rover service courtesy of 'Red Stag Safaris' to the valley. This will operate on the following days between 10am-4pm, whilst the bus service is not running:
Saturday 25 January, Sunday 26 January, Wednesday 29 January, Thursday 30 January
Saturday 1 February, Sunday 2 February, Thursday 6 February. Friday 7th February
You may like to take advantage of this service both ways, or walk to the valley and take the taxi service back. Either way, please speak to our customer services representative on the day. Fares are £6 pp single/return.
Park and Ride – Saturday 8th February to Sunday 23rd February
Fares: Adult Return £6, Senior Citizen Return £5, Child Return 5-15yrs £2, Children under 5 free with an adult
Single fares of £4 Adult/Senior Citizen and £2 Child between 5-15 – No Concessions on single fares
Please note that we do not have the facility for card payments at present. We can accept cash only. There is a cash point at Central Stores in Wheddon Cross
Bus Timetable 2020
Foldable wheelchairs, pushchairs and mobility scooters can be taken on the buses in the boot
Dogs: Carried at driver’s discretion. Please be aware that dogs must not be on the seats and very muddy/wet dogs may not be allowed on board
Mobility Passes – We can arrange passes for visitors with mobility problems to allow you to drive your own vehicle into the valley during the weeks of 25th January – 7th February.

Refreshments
There are several establishments located at Wheddon Cross where you can enjoy a variety of refreshments. Toilets are also located there

Walking access into the valley along the local bridleways and footpaths is available throughout the month. Dogs are allowed on all public footpaths and on leads within Snowdrop Valley

Walking routes
There are 5 different walks that take you to the valley:
Walk 1 – 1.5km / 30 minutes
Walk 2 – 1.3km / 30 minutes
Walk 3 – 2.8km / 45 minutes
Walk 4 – 5km / 2 hours
Walk 5 – 7.5km / 3 hours
These distances and times do not include getting back from the valley to the car park. All distances and times are approximate.
Winter clothing and suitable sturdy footwear is essential. The walking routes take in bridleways and footpaths, and can be very muddy. One walking map of choice is included with your parking fee. Additional maps are available from the Snowdrop Valley Information Points at Wheddon Cross and the Exmoor Farmers Market Car Park for £1 each
