“Morning started off misty rain. So had a coffee in sally and by 11.45 we took a chance it would dry up. From my car park we dropped down to the river quarme, then follwed it along to Luckwell bridge. Up Long Lane and out to Dunkery Hill Gate, where we had lunch. Then a short climb up to the Beacon. Downhill then for a long way along Langham woods then up through Little Quarme woods and back to sally in the car park at Wheddon Cross. 7 mile.”
