Walking on sunshine…

From Selworthy to Bratton to see swallows, North Hill, then the lower coast path to Selworthy Beacon. We watched a plane come along the valley below us (just visible in the photo) and then walked back down through the woods. A couple of adders basking in the warmth, first I’ve seen this year.

In Velvet

What a difference a day makes in the weather! These were taken Tuesday and yesterday midday. I’m sure that when stags are in velvet they seem less concerned about people, as all of these were taken very close to the houses. Beautiful to watch.

The Bluebell is the sweetest flower…

The Bluebell is the sweetest flower

That waves in summer air:

Its blossoms have the mightiest power

To soothe my spirit’s care.

Four seasons in a day….

Exmoor at its best today -complete with some snow! A 48 mile trip with solitude, wilderness and views to feed the soul! 💕 what’s not to love! Barnstaple to Brayford to Simonsbath, to Exford to Withypool, to Five Cross Way to Bratton Fleming & back home. PS thanks to the lovely fellow cyclist at the top to the moor above Withypool who gave me a lovely route back! Hope you enjoyed your ride…who knows you may be on this site! You have some beautiful rides on your Exford doorstep 😊
