Dunster circular- route downloaded from exploremore.co.uk 4.4 miles

Very muddy today but we escaped all but 1 shower so it was a beautiful walk.

A Devon Adventure

Today we took a drive to Mortehoe. We stopped in at Woolacombe first as it started out as a lovely day.

Combesgate beach was lit up beautifully.

Once at mortehoe we talk a walk down the coastal path to Bulls point Lighthouse.

The sea was rough, and the rain was coming in fast. The views were impeccable though.

Please enjoy the Photos.

A cloud inversion over Selworthy, Porlock Vale & far, far away…

Some mornings are just so much better than others and that counts for weather as well as my ongoing and boring health issues (syringomyelia) with my damaged spinal cord.
Mornings can be really hard and painful for me to get up, get moving and get out but this is one I didn’t want to miss when I saw the forecast for morning fog across Exmoor 🌫
Out & about & aloft exploring a fog bound Exmoor National Park.
Selworthy Church and Village green on the edge of a huge cloud inversion stretching over Porlock Vale & beyond 🌫 👀

Remembering Porlock Carnival

It’s another miserable and damp day on Exmoor, so what other excuse do we need to remember the last Porlock Carnival! Kirsten Bruns who visited Exmoor last September with a group of photographers, shared these jolly photos with us in our FB group. Have a look and let us know which one is your favourite:

Dreaming of summer…

All of these butterflies and moth were taken on the coastal path between Blue Anchor and Dunster in June 2019 by David Bishop.
