In and around the river Barle

Photos by Paul Sparks, taken at and near Tarr Steps.

Tarr Steps is an ancient clapper bridge, possibly dating back to 1000BC. It is a Grade 1 listed building and Scheduled Ancient Monument, crossing the River Barle about 6.5 miles upstream from Dulverton.

November Walk on Exmoor

More autumnal bliss this morning on one of my favourite walks on Exmoor.

Uplifting Exmoor mornings

Red sky at night, shepherds delight, well a bit yellowy.

Certainly a beautiful morning with the early morning mist on the moor and reflections of light on Danes Brook and the Barle, so uplifting, so refreshing with nature all around.
