Open Gardens at East Worlington House: Meet the Crocuses

Not quite Exmoor, but too good to miss are the Open Gardens at East Worlington House at the end of February and beginning of March when the garden is carpeted with swathes of beautiful crocuses.

Thousands of Crocuses. In 2-acre garden, set in lovely position with views down the valley to Little Dart river, these spectacular crocuses have spread over many years through the garden and into the neighbouring churchyard. Cream teas in the parish hall (in aid of its thatch fund) next door. Disabled parking at the house. Parking nearby. Dogs on leads please

Admission: Adults £3, children free

Facilities: Cream Teas in the village hall, next door, in aid of the Worlington Parish Hall thatch fund.

Location:In the centre of East Worlington, 2m W of Witheridge.

Directions: In Witheridge (B3137 Tiverton/South Molton) into the square and R at small sign to East Worlington. Along West Street to Drayford Lane, 1.4 miles R at T-junction in Drayford, over bridge and L to Worlington. 0.3 miles enter East Worlington and L at the T-junction. East Worlington House after parish hall on Left.
