High tide at Porlock Marsh

“Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more” – a walk out to the breach on Bossington Beach / Porlock Marsh last evening – a collection of drone and ground shots. I love the layering along the coast at sunset when there’s a bit of haze.

A walk to Culbone Church

A walk from Porlock Weir:

“Onwards using the new route up from the beach to Culbone Church. Through an English rainforest. We are so lucky here on Exmoor to have such places. Return to central Porlock. 8 miles round trip.”

Solo hike in Horner Woods

Solo hike this weekend, just me and Belle, not the easiest 🏕 on Exmoor to get to but well worth the effort, stunning scenery and riverside pitch number 24 involving a wooden plank bridge and then a river crossing ( swollen this morning ), red wine and a large rump steak supper ( in the rain ) 😆 both nights, both very tired and soggy but Horner Wood was as spectacular as ever and would do it all again tomorrow 😀
