Roe doe and her twins

Lovely to see this Roe doe with her twins, among the stunning August purple, pink , yellow and green colours of Exmoor’s flowering heathers and western gorse moorland.

From Timberscombe to Bats Castle

Beautiful walk yesterday in perfect weather, from Timberscombe up to Bat’s Castle (where the views across to the coast were stunning) and then down into Dunster. Polished off with a delicious pizza in my favourite pub garden at the Lutteral Arms.

Bossington Hill

It’s a Technicolor sort of a day on Bossington Hill. I just can’t resist Belted Galloways.

Up the Toll Road…

Penultimate day for my birthday holiday week. Took my husband for a drive up the Toll Road and came across these beauties grazing in the sunshine.
