The sky over Exmoor last night 💫

Several photographers went out and captured beautiful images of the comet over a moonlit landscape. Enjoy.

In this picture, as well as comet C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan–ATLAS), Porlock Marsh flooded with an 11+ metre tide, Foreland Point lighthouse beam, cars going up and down Porlock Hill, the twinkly lights of Porlock, and Belted Galloway cattle all against a moonlit landscape. Also a comet close-up.

Moonlight River

We live a few miles from the nearest town and so the yard is a great place for night skies. The moon was bright and reflecting beautifully off the stream, casting amazing shadows and reflections… Love how this image captures the details, the serenity of the night echoed in the softness of the water…
