Photo of the Week: Cornham Brake

Sarah Hailstone took this photo of this classic Cornham Brake view on a gorgeous Spring day last week. On Facebook alone it had close to 1,700 reactions (likes, comments and shares). In total it reached 42,000 people. That’s not even taking into account how many people saw this beautiful photo on our Instagram account.

Photo of the Week: Bossington Beach

Matt Dunkley’s photo of the view from Bossington Hill along Bossington Beach and across Porlock Way towards Exmoor’s North Devon coast in the far distance was one of the most popular images across all our social media in the past few weeks. We hope you enjoy it as much as the thousands of people who ‘liked’ and shared this photo.

Photo of the Week

On a chilly winter’s morning deep in the valley a frosted village sits whilst the sun rays slowly rise at Withypool, Exmoor.

Withypool is a small village in Somerset, England, near the centre of Exmoor National Park and close to the border with Devon. The word Withy means “willow”. Withypool is in the Barle Valley on the River Barle. The village lies on the route of the Two Moors Way and the Celtic Way Exmoor Option.

To the southwest of the village lie Withypool Common and Withypool Hill.

Thanks for looking, Rich.
