My first expedition in to the world of photography was many years ago when film was king and digital images were a twinkle in Bill Gates’ eyes. This interest was maintained for a number of years but the pressures of a growing family gradually pushed it to the rear.
About 8 years ago I was given a mid range digital SLR as a Xmas present by my daughter. After leaving it in the box for a couple of months I final took the first few images and was instantly hooked again. From this point I have not looked back, I now in the main use a Canon 5D Mk2 or 7D both of which I find to be excellent cameras.
Based in Essex I first visited Exmoor with my wife for a long weekend and fell in love with the place, I have now visited regularly for over 5 years and the area has still not lost its magic for me.
From a photographic stand point, Exmoor presents endless opportunities with the vistas changing as the months roll by and the next fantastic image just around the corner.
I hope you enjoy these images which represent how I have viewed Exmoor through my camera lens, if you have any question on particularly images, locations, camera set up or any other issues feel free to contact me.
